We thank you in advance for taking time out of your day to meet with your student's teachers and work together for the success for your student. If you are not able to attend conferences, I encourage you to call your students teacher and set up a conference at a time that is convenient for you.

During the conference,

Listen carefully to the teacher to find out the following:

• Academic achievement (A,B,C)

• Social Development (behavior, peer relations)

• Ability Level

• Strengths and Weaknesses

• Potential

• Areas which need improvement

Be prepared to talk to the teacher about the following:

• Any problems which may affect your child's school work

• Your child's attitude about school

• How and where your child does homework and prepares for tests

• Your child's interests
